Community Outreach & Real Estate Market Research
COCAR™ believes that Well Designed Communities are good business and one of our missions is to take an active role in making the surrounding communities a better place. We also believe that information is a key to better public policy; we help sponsor various real estate market research projects and disseminate research done by others.
COCAR™ partners with the National Association of REALTORS’® Commercial Community Outreach Programs, other professional organizations, as well as the University of Central Oklahoma’s academic Real Estate Program (our designated charity) to provide a variety of community focused programs and grants.
We help distribute (along with other Local Boards) NAR’s On Common Ground magazine, a semi-annual publication that presents a wide range of views on smart- growth issues. Contact us at info@cocar.org if you would like to be on the mailing list.

Market Research
COCAR Real Estate Market Research is conducted through partnerships with NAR, the University of Central Oklahoma’s Real Estate academic program, and other Oklahoma higher education institutions. NAR publishes several national market research reports, and students in real estate related programs assist in gathering data from Oklahoma for some of these national reports.
Additional funds for market research is provided to UCO through a partnership in our affiliated Commercial Real Estate Summit™, an annual deal making & education event.
